Game Jams

I enjoy participating in Game Jams because it is an ideal time to explore unique mechanics, learn new skills, or engage with an unexpected theme. What I don't fully appreciate about Game Jams is the concept of working for 48 hours straight. It often happens that participants, so caught up in the excitement, put their own health on the sidelines.

That is why I decided to use a different approach for the Jams I organised. I hosted Game Jams within BUas involving students of all years and disciplines. The Jams generally lasted one week, so as to avoid crunch. I also managed a concept workshop to help the less experienced in the implementation of Game Jams in the early stages.

At the end of each Jam, I set up a Showcase Party to display the results and celebrate together!
