Art History
Before starting my career as a Game Producer, I was involved in Art History for about 10 years. Through my studies I acquired a strong expertise in cinematography, modern and contemporary art history, and project management and fundraising related to the field. Later, I was involved in curating and organizing exhibitions of modern and contemporary art.
Segnare le Ore
2018, Quirinal Palace, Rome (Italy)
The exhibition was dedicated to forty-eight watches, mostly of French manufacture, belonging to a chronological span between the end of the 17th century and the end of the 19th century and in particular related to the Louis XV style, significant interpreters of a “lightness of time” typical of the period.
I was responsible for writing the catalogue entries, analysing the objects and studying the archives. I then advised on the management of the exhibition. I had the opportunity to work in an institutional environment with a strict protocol, which allowed me to improve the organization and communication aspects.
The Fragment as a Proverb
2019, MAXXI Museum, Rome (Italy)
The Fragment as a Proverb is a musical performance accompanied by a video projection, presented by the Lithuanian artist Kristina Inčiūraitė, with the participation of Elements by Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia’s Cantoria and Mariko Takagi, Japanese teacher of the art of whistling.
I was responsible of organizing the event: communicating with museum employees and coordinating the workers in charge of managing the exhibition space. In addition, communication with the artist proved to be crucial to ensure that the result was in line with expectations.
This experience proved valuable as it allowed me to navigate a complex pipeline that involved multiple stakeholders. Additionally, effective communication between all parties played a critical role, and my position served as a vital link in facilitating that communication.
